Project Photo a Day 2013 | Day 4: Yum-yum
We
had a little birthday party for Ronen today with his little friends. It
was crazy, busy, messy but most importantly, happy. And with lots of
goodies which were yummy!
I still cannot believe he's three. That's 1, 2, 3. Wasn't he just a baby, like, yesterday?!

What we wore: Jewel Print
I wore this to Mr W's Christmas work party last month. I went to two other Christmas events but as they were at night, by the time I got ready, it was too dark to take photos. Glad this one just made it!
Coat (Vivienne Tam)
Belt (ASOS), Sequin clutch (TK Maxx)
Boots (David J Pliner)
Project Photo a Day 2013 | Day 3 : Hurry Up, Mum!
Today was the first day of the year that I went out on a shoot and the kids were at my sister-in-law's. I am very thankful we have family nearby who are always happy to have them when needed and more importantly, the kids have a happy place to park for a bit while mum goes to work.

Project Photo A Day | Day 1 : Ride With Me
For the third year running, I have been doing a personal photo project every January--posting a photo of my family every day for a month. This came after realising that I don't take enough photos of my own children. It's always a challenge, as I tend to forget about my camera during my down time, especially when I am at home. But at the end of the month, when I have done it, there is a sense of achievement.
Day 1 : Ride with Me
This is Wander Boy's first bike ride on his first bike, which he got on his third birthday a couple of days ago.

What we wore: Plaid Shirt and Down Jacket for Work
Whenever I do family shoots, there are a few rules as to what I wear. Firstly, absolutely no skirts and no tops with low necklines. I crouch a lot when I photograph kids so tops need to be either longline to cover my bottom and/or tucked in, buttoned-up so everything is contained. You don't want to see what they call a builder's bottom when I bend down. Heehee!
I wore this to my final shoot for the year. It was a cold, wintry day but as I move around a lot, a comfy and loosely fitted jacket was sufficient.
Down jacket (Armani Jeans)
Plaid top (Asos)
Jeans (Miss Selfridge)
Undy Boots (Aquatalia by Marvin K)
Sunglasses (Police), Necklace (£2 at charity shop), Belt (Topshop)
Camera bag (Lowepro)
