This week-end, we were visiting my mum-in-law's and decided to go to West Lodge Park Farm in Desborough, Northamptonshire. We got there in the afternoon and only had a couple of hours to spend there. Nevertheless, it was loads of fun. We had a late lunch at their restaurant and saw several farm animals.
The kids fed the animals and went on a pony ride, which they absolutely enjoyed. The last attraction of the day was the Cuddle Corner where we got to pet rabbits and guinea pigs. Wander Girl, who is completely besotted with bunnies, loved it!
It was a cold, cold afternoon and it got dark really early. I think it turned out to work to our advantage though as the farm was almost empty when we were there.
We would definitely come back. It was such a fun day out with and for the kids.
